Best of OU Create 1/16-1/28

Over the past two weeks, the OU Create community has written posts on everything from the beauty of horses to freeform poetry. We’ve selected our favorite posts from the last two weeks, so without further ado, please enjoy the best of OU Create 1/16-1/28!

And now for the roundup…

Emily is studying abroad this semester in Bordeaux, France. In her post, Emily talks about getting settled in to a new country and all of the ways a student studying abroad can acclimate to a new place.

Ashlynn also wrote about her study abroad experiences. Ashlynn has recently returned from study abroad in Beijing and Germany, and she reflects on the difficulty of travel restlessness.

Meredith shared a post describing her personal development as a creative person. Her journey has culminated in her taking a class on graphic design, which she is looking forward to.

Maggie, like Meredith, shared a post about personal refection. In her post, Maggie shares her goals for the semester and shares her recommendations with her readers.

In a different mode of writing, Luke shared a poem on his blog last week. The poem, “Heave Ho,” is full of meaningful repetition and vibrant imagery, creating a feeling of working tirelessly and achieving nothing; a lot of students can relate to that feeling going into the spring semester.
